Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Planner to support the coordination and management of manufacturing schedules in a fast-paced SMT environment. This is an entry-level planning role ideal for someone looking to build a career in production planning. The Associate Planner will work closely with senior planners and cross-functional teams to help align production output with customer demand, supporting on-time delivery and material availability. This position is 100% onsite.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and maintaining production schedules based on customer demand, material availability, and capacity inputs provided by the planning team.
- Monitor work-in-progress and communicate schedule updates or potential delays to senior planners and relevant stakeholders.
- Support collaboration between Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Engineering by helping to track open issues and follow up on action items.
- Assist with the timely release of work orders and help coordinate across SMT assembly, testing, and final packaging operations.
- Maintain and update accurate data in the ERP system, including work orders, production statuses, and lead times.
- Help track key planning metrics such as on-time delivery (OTD), backlog, and capacity utilization under the guidance of senior staff.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities by assisting with early build coordination and communication between Engineering and Production.
- Assist in Quick-Turn planning efforts for expedited customer orders under direction from senior planners.
Requirements:
Education/Qualification
- College degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field.
Experience (Years & Fields)
- 0–2 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or a related manufacturing role

Technical Skills:

- Any exposure to NPI, prototype builds, or contract/quick-turn manufacturing environments.
- APICS coursework or interest in pursuing APICS certification is a plus.

The expected pay rate for this position is $71,000.00 - $80,000.00 depending on specific skills and work experience.
